ABOUT THE LIBRARY
The Library provides seamless access to information and library services which support the teaching,
learning and research needs of users from Mount Seena College. Currently, Our library has collection
on Languages, Literature, Computer Science, and all major Science and commerce subjects.
- Library will be open from 9 am to 4.30 pm (Monday to Friday) & 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on
Saturday.

No student will be allowed to avail library facility without valid college ID card.

Users should maintain silence in the library. Library facility will be withdrawn from those cause
inconvenience to other users.

Formal Dress is expected from all the patrons.

Unauthorized removal of books or damaging the property of library, and misbehaviour with
library staff shall be considered as an act of indiscipline.

Library books and documents must be treated with care; Books belonging to the Library shall not
be marked, written in or damaged in any way

Faculty members are entitled for ten (10) books, U.G students are entitled for eight (5) books,
Post graduate students can avail for five (8) books at a time.

A book can be re-issued only once if there is no demand for that book.

Books must be returned on or before the due date. A fine of Rs. 1 per day will be charged per
book. A receipt will be issued at the time of payment.

Reference books will not be issued.

If the due date falls on a holiday declared by the University, students may return the books on
the next working day.

If a book is lost or damaged, it should be replaced at the user’s own cost. Replacement of books
shall be of the same author and title. However, latest edition may be replaced. In addition, a charge
of Rs. 100/- may be paid as processing fee.

If the user fails to replace the book, he / she has to pay 4 times of the actual cost of the book
plus the processing fee.

Users will have to keep all their belongings outside the reading room. The authority will not be
responsible for any loss.

Printed books from the user, files, bags, umbrella, writing board and diary are not allowed inside
the library.

Newspapers and journals should not be taken out of the reading area.

Students should not disturb the arrangements of the library furniture.

Outsiders are not allowed in the library without the permission of the Librarian.

Circulation services will be closed 30 minutes before the library closing time and Library
Circulation will be start 30 minutes after the library opening.

Student should return the college ID card for getting no dues certificate.

Food and beverages items are not allowed in the library.
