About Us

The department of Physics started in 2010.The department offers core programme B.Sc Physics and complementary course to B.Sc Computer science and B.Sc. Maths. The department conducts various activities like Seminars, Webinars, Workshop ,Exhibitions etc. Our students actively participate NSS , NCC Arts and Sports Programmes also.

Vision :

  • Help the students to become professionally competent in the field of science.
  • Give opportunities to the students to attend seminars, talent tests, interviews etc.
  • Increase research aptitude .
  • Improve the teaching skills of students by making them present seminars.

Achievements :

  • Many of our students doing M.Sc. Physics .Two of them completed MSc. In Radiation Physics and working as Radiologist in Hospitals under Central Govt.
  • Some of the students are pursuing M.Sc Physics in Aligarh University ,Delhi and Phd in JAIN UNIVERSITY,IIST –TRIVANDRUM
  • Many of our Alumni are placed in Famous IT companies
  • Some students have entered in to the field of teaching.

  • “A pretty experiment is more valuable than twenty formulas extracted from our mind.” Our well equipped and spacious physics lab with internet facility makes it true.
  • There are plenty of books & two international Journals in the library to improve the knowledge of students in physics.
  • For doing computational study in physics, separate computers are available in the physics lab.

The department takes initiatives for overall development of students and give thempractical orientation to inculcate employability skills which will help them to face this competitive world. The department activities conducted are focused on impartingtechnical knowledge along its application in the practical world. Simultaneouslypersonality development of students is also given priority.
