WELCOME TO MOUNT SEENA COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE

The Mathematics department offers a program of graduate study in Mathematics with complimentary courses, Statistics and Physics, since 2013. Through course work and the project, the students is prepared for a career in teaching and research in the Mathematical sciences and their applications. Graduate students also play an important role in the teaching activities of the department.

Course offering in the department of Mathematics are organized into general fields: Logic and Number Theory, Calculus of single variable, Linear Algebra, Theory of equations. Abstract Algebra, Mathematical Analysis, linear programming, Graph theory, Complex analysis, Geometry, Differential equations and vector calculus.

Furthermore, the Mathematics department provides complimentary courses for the students of Bsc computer science and Bsc Physics. This course offers various important fields interest in Mathematics such as a Calculus, Differentiation and its applications, Integration and its applications, Fourier series, Laplace transforms, and multi variable calculus.

The department takes initiatives for overall development of students and give thempractical orientation to inculcate employability skills which will help them to face this competitive world. The department activities conducted are focused on impartingtechnical knowledge along its application in the practical world. Simultaneouslypersonality development of students is also given priority.
